Its a wrap for outreach
Im emailing from the Hong Kong airport... and I just wanted to let everyone know that I appreciate all the prayers and I am excited to share what God has done in my life...
Two things i've learned
Everything should start with the word
and when you're faced with trials you have a choice... God is simple ex. blessing or curse
I love all of you and ill be flying in on march 22nd around 5 30 pm or something like that :)
email me if you want more details kurtz12@gmail.com
God is great and his love truly endures forever....

We're leaving in two days : )
God really blessed us this week with cooks, a lady to wash our clothes, and comfortable beds with mattresses.
Most likely God provided rest for us because we are going to be on the go in China.
God constantly reminds me about DTS and what it means. Aside from being a discipleship training school it also means Dying To Self. So I really have to submit to God and obey whatever he tells me. When I think of Dying to Self I realize that life is not about me.
" I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. " Galatians 2: 19-21
With this verse I realize that Jesus is what life is all about. And making his kingdom known is the reason why I am here.
Its all about the heart.
On Thursday, our team will be flying to Hong Kong.
We'll stay there overnight and travel to Tangxia the next day.
Then after two weeks in Tangxia we'll go to Bejing stay there for a week, travel to Xining stay for a week, go back to Hong Kong for three days, then travel back to Cebu. The three outreach teams will meet in Cebu, have out last lecture on debriefing and re-entry, then its time to say out good-byes or see you laters.
Continue praying for the three of us
I appreciate all the support and the comments : )
I miss all of you
Love all of you
Take care
God bless

Spring Villiage Tribal Christian Chuch, Baguio, Philippines
This week was totally different...
I was able to experience sleeping on a wooden frame, warming up water in a tea kettle to take a bath, and being in a really cold part of the Philippines.
We stayed in Tam'awan Villiage, Baguio and the elevation there was 5000 ft.
At first it was hard to breathe and it was hard to get used to hiking everywhere, especially, up the really steep roads.
Our ministry consisted of helping out a Tribal Christian Chruch. The church was located in the Baguio, Philippines Navy Base. Supposedly everyone is allowed to live there, along with the Navy.
Our team had opportunities to share the message on Sunday.
So Nani shared the message in the main service and I shared a message with the youth in the afternoon.
Throughout the week we were able to hook up with the Honolulu DTS team. That was pretty fun, especially, for me because I haven't been with Westeren'ers for a long time. So it was a chance for me to hang out and talk about "western stuff" :) We were able to do presentations together and share the love of God to people living in the social development center. The people living in this facility consist of children that ran away from home, have been abused, or engaged in stealing things. So yeah it was fun to share this ministry with the Hawaiian team.
It is also funny because they actually have a full outreach team and our team consists of 3 including me : Christine (Staff), Nani, and me
Yeah there are some struggles along the way but its cool because it gives us an opportunity to bond and be open similar to how a family would bond.
And it also gives me opportunities to seek intimacy with God.
God is good! And he remains faithful to me time and time again....
Tomorrow our team will be going back to Manila to help out at another orphanage located in Rizal, Manila....
I'm not sure what we'll be doing there, but i'll be sure to update all of you...
After we finish our week of service there, we'll be leaving for China :)
Keep us in your prayers
Love you all
Miss you all

My Fathers House Orphange: Manila, Philippines
Hey everyone!!
Our first week of outreach was in My Fathers House.
I was in charge of the teenagers from 11-16
I had to wake them up at 4:30 in the morning with the love of Jesus :)
I tried to be calm and gentle and remind myself of how Jesus would deal with this situation.
So basically, I would turn on the light, knock on the door, and if some teens would wake up, then great!
The teens that wake up to the light and knocking make my life a lot easier.
They would get pots and water : )
Then they would bang away at the pots and splash water in the faces of teens that were stubborn..
So yeah I enjoyed it a lot... Even at 4: 30 in the morning I was able to laugh....
The part of the outreach that I enjoyed most was washing clothes for the pre-teens...
There were a lot of clothes... and guess what? The washing machine was very old and the knob thingy was broken... So we had to hand wash the pre-teens clothes.... It definately tested our attitudes and patience...
Well im running out of time at the cafe.....
Ill be going to Baguio, Philippines tomorrow and we'll be helping out with churches and performing little skits and dances.....
Pray for us
Love you all
Miss you all
God bless
